Our main focus this year are three areas locally and globally:

The PHILIPPINES - PGHF strives to support the work of PAL-CARE, Gawad Kalinga and other grassroots organizations.

UGANDA, AFRICA - PGHF supports Rural Health Care Foundation in Mubende - a grassroots organization.
PGHF is also doing needs assessments
of isolated and remote places like the
islands on Lake Victoria.

PINE RIDGE RESERVATION in SOUTH DAKOTA - PGHF supports a grassroots organization ONE SPIRIT
who directly serves the Lakota Native
Americans in Pine Ridge. PGHF has created PROJECT WARMTH in
response to the needs of our Lakota
brothers and sisters after they suffered
multi- blizzards.



Description:

PHOENIX GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to serve those who suffer disasters, losses, and tragedies locally and
globally. We serve those who suffer
man-made and natural disasters, those
who require basic needs like clean water, food, clothes and shelter just to
survive, those who are isolated like the
refugees and displaced people, those
with mental illness, those disabled from
physical illnesess (i.e.AIDS), those with
chemical dependency and those who
are incarcerated. We encourage
volunteerism, do short term intensive
relief work, create awareness and
education regarding our cause,
fundraise, support physicians, nurses
and psychosocial teams in remote
isolated places needing help in the
world. Our organization supports the
grassroots, facilitate community empowerment and self-sustainability,
and believes that everyone has the power to give. We believe in service
with love and compassion.
