| Las Vegas Kababayans Unite for Relief Drive | Caption: | Oct 12, 2009 Las Vegas, NV. Bayanihan is alive! The Philippine Medical Association of Nevada hosted a cocktail party to raise funds to help victims of Typhoon Ondoy, which devastated millions of families with massive flooding and landslides in the Philippines. A well attended party with community leaders and physicians mingling at the poolside of the posh Turnberry Towers, courtesy of gastroenterologist Noel Fajardo. Great wine and saki compliments of volunteer friends. And the best entertainment ONLY GOODWILL can afford... with the generous heart of Martin Nievera who lingered with the crowd and provided us with an intimate performance of his most memorable hits. Proceeds will be forwarded to ABS-CBN Foundation. Good night for fun... and a great cause. |
