Rellenong Hipon - Stuffed Shrimp ( Seafood )
15 pcs. very large shrimps (about 1 kg.)
1/4 c. ground pork
1/3 c. cooked ham, chopped
3 tbs. dried mushrooms, soaked then chopped
3 tbs. spring onions, chopped
2 tbs. carrots, chopped
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. aji-no-moto
1/4 k. untosinsal or strips of bacon

Peel shrimps leaving the tails on. Slit the back and de-vein. Wash well and drain. Mix the ground pork, ham, mushrooms, spring onions, carrots, egg, salt and aji-no-moto. Lay the shrimp on a piece of untosinsal or a strip of bacon. Fill shrimp with a teaspoonful of stuffing and wrap. Deep fry. Serve hot with sweet sour sauce.
